Monā Farivar

Monā Farivar (she/her) is a multidisciplinary artist from Hamburg and part of the German hip-hop scene. Dance, film, performance, and sound design became expressions of freedom for her at an early age. Over the years, she has choreographed numerous film and theater productions, including for Fatih Akin, Mable Preach, Baltic Raw, Celine Ceelesi, and others.
In addition to her artistic work, she collaborates closely with cultural agents and various collectives to promote diversity-oriented education.

Her dance is characterized by strong, narrative moments. In 2023, she developed her first dance solo, TIKKÉ TIKKÉ, which has been enthusiastically received with 18 performances to date at renowned theaters and festivals throughout Germany.
